Woodward has 41 years of experience in setting the standard for action and gymnastics camps nationwide. We offer the best combination of gymnastics, cheer tumbling, parkour and summer-camp fun anywhere! World-class training, state-of-the-art facilities, fantastic staff, and tons of recreation mean you’re going to have the best summer of your life!
Parkour athletes have instruction throughout the day: morning instruction from 9:15-12:15P.M., afternoon open gym or course time from 3:00 – 5:00P.M. and evening instruction 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. We are proud to maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio of not more than 1:8. Atheltes will have access to the gymnasium, state-of-the-art Parkour facility and all of the skateparks to use as urban training grounds.
We are very goal-oriented at Woodward West and want your athlete to get the most of our their experience at camp. On Monday morning, they fill out 2-3 goals for their week. Each day after morning instruction, the campers meet with group to review their progress, get stamps on accomplished goals and add new goals to their sheets.
Campers are housed with other campers their same age and sport. They enjoy clean, air-conditioned cabins themed after the Old West. There are bathrooms and showers in or adjacent to each cabin. Every cabin has a counselor in it, along with up to 14 of your new or old friends. For campers age 9 and under, see our “Youth Camp” section.
Woodward West’s Youth Camp was created to assist our youngest campers adjust to camp life. Campers ages 7 to 9 (and often older) live with a “mini mom” (girls) or a “mini dad” (boys) and have an earlier bedtime (9:30P.M.) so they get plenty of rest. All campers ages 9 and under are required to participate in our Youth Camp; however, older friends may request to stay with them.
NEW this year we have an AMAZING parkour facility. This course was designed and created with parkour campers in mind. We are so excited to share it with them.
