On Saturday, Dec. 8th, Woodward West hosted the CASL (California Amateur Skate League) contest for both Norcal and Socal skateboarders. The contest included street, vert, and bowls. CASL athletes also receive $150 off CASL week during the summer at Woodward West. Congrats to all the skaters!
This past weekend, Woodward West play host to 3 teams; Classic Gymnastics from Tracy, CA; Mission Valley Gymnastics from San Diego, CA; and MEGA from San Rafael, CA. With over 60 athletes and a handful of coaches including Woodward West VIP Jen Hansen, the gym stayed busy throughout the day. The athletes worked on perfecting their routines and skills for the upcoming season. During their time outside the gym, the athletes spent some time in the Canteen and had a bowling night and even enjoyed some of the CASL contest on Saturday.
