LEARN FROM THE BEST-- Woodward West's Visiting Coaches Program offers an unparalleled educational opportunity to all coaches. Participants are offered daily clinics on skill development, progressions, teaching techniques, and spotting-- and we will make every effort to honor requests for special clinics. Attendees can interact with their peers at special recreational activites. The Visiting Coaches Program is open to gymnastics, cheer and T&T coaches who are 18 or older.
We really try to cater our program to each coach and try to accommodate their needs. A visiting coach is encouraged to attend all instruction times to observe, photograph, film, and watch our Woodward West staff. As a visiting coach, you are able to coach and spot your athletes only during open gym. At minimum, we host 4 clinics per week. Depending on the Woodward staff, we might also offer speciality clinics. We also host 2 spotting clinics throughout the week for both our Woodward coaches and visiting coaches.
